Kylee's School

Today Kylee had school. We usually work one on one with the therapist with different sounds. Today was a testing day! They just had her repeat words and words and words!! Lots of words. They did this same exercise when we first started going to TLC. She did so good today. She maybe said 5 words wrong. When we first did it in October, she didn't say most of the words right! I was so happy for my little girl. For those of you that have talked to her on the phone, it is getting much easier to understand her!!! You don't have to be with her in person to try and figure out what she is saying.

Because she is doing so well, we are not going to do summer school. It is just a crazy summer and I was kind of trying to figure out how we were going to do that one!! The therapist said she would be okay to not come and I just need to work with her during the summer!

WOO HOO KYLEE!!!!

Bean Museum

Yesterday, Andi, her kids, my mom, and my kids and I went to the Bean Museum! It has been a long time since I have been there, but it was real fun. Kylee loved the animals and kept saying that they were going to eat her and then laugh. I thought that was real funny that she thought that!!

We then headed to Rock Canyon Park for a picnic. Tyler and Christine met up with us there and we had lunch and played! Oh, it was so nice yesterday and so great to get out with the girls. Sorry there are no pictures. I had my camera out ready to take with me, but completely forgot! I will get some today! (Maybe!!)

I DID IT!

Yes I did it! I went out with all three girls today! I needed to do it just to say that I can! We went crazy too. I went to about 4 different stores. Emily pretty much screamed the whole time, but I was suprisingly calm!! Can you just see the looks I got!! THREE KIDS UNDER THE AGE OF THREE. Kylee is trailing along, Jayce is in the cart, and Emily is in her carseat in the cart. WOW! What a crazy lady!!

A couple days ago, I took just Kylee to the store and she ran away from me. I was pretty upset so today I was prepared. She has a little toy dog that has a leash on it. I put the leash on Kylee and drug her around the store!! I am sure that I got looks, but I just wasn't paying any attention. I had Kylee by my side!! She didn't like it too much, but was very good! I am just glad that I can now say I CAN DO IT!!!

Great Sunny Day!

Today was so wonderful. The weather is so beautiful. This morning it was a little cool, but nice enough for the girls to play outside. I cleaned my windows today (inside and out). My mom taught the greatness of a clean window! My windows were so dirty that once I cleaned them, I was looking out the window to check on the girls and you can't tell that there is even a window there! Oh, clean windows are WONDERFUL!!

This little area in our backyard is where I am going to plant some crawling rose bushes, but for the time, it works as the girls play area! Jayce likes to eat the dirt! ICK! They both were so filthy dirty today, but they had a blast playing outside most of the day (except for when they took their naps). I hope everyone else enjoyed this lovely weather we are having! I can't wait to get a play set for the girls! Boy won't that be fun!

Bishopbric Night

Last night Jared and I got to go to a Bishopbric party. It was so much fun. My parents tended ALL of the kids for us. Yes, we left Emily at home and she did great and we had a blast. Tyler and Christine were going to tend, but Christine is graduating from BYU and had a graduation party! (BTW, CONGRATS Christine!!!) We had dinner and played Wackee Six. Its a new game that Jared's family introduced to us and I just love it! It is a lot like Nertz. Thanks mom and dad for watching our little gals so we could have a great night!!

Little Emily

Little Emily had her pictures taken yesterday. Isn't she just precious!!! I love the pictures and I think Kiddie Kandids did such an awesome job. My mom came and helped me with the other two little girls. Thank you so much mom!! I couldn't have done it without you there to help me out!!

Kylee's First Haircut

I took Kylee to get her hair cut today. Jared's sister-in-law came over to the house on Monday and one of her little girl's had her hair cut real short and it was so cute! I have wanted to cut Kylee's for so long, and here we finally did it! She was so good sitting in the chair. I absolutely love this on her little face! What a drastic change huh!

Fear Factor

Last night we had YM/YW's. We played Faith Fear Factor. It was so much fun and the kids had a blast. They kept wanting to do more and more challenges!! We finally had to end so that we could have rootbeer floats and head home. I think that I am really going to like Young Women's. I work with some great leaders and the kids are really great too! It is going to be a lot of work, but I think so very rewarding! To help these young kids understand how important the gospel is and what joy and peace it can bring to our families is so great!

Pictures of the Girls

I have been wanting to get some new pictures of the girls. I have lots of frames around the house and most of the pictures are from when Kylee was a baby. Since we are doing Emily's blessing on Sunday, I figured now is a good excuse to get those pictures replaced! Here are some really cute pictures of the girls. Emily sure is growing up! She doesn't have that newborn look so much anymore and she smiles like crazy!! She is also starting to make cooing sounds. So fun!

Kylee Reading

In December I caught Kylee reading "Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?" on video and have finally gotten it uploaded. This just makes me laugh!! I hope you all enjoy it! PS Pause the music so that you can hear Kylee!!
