We hope that everyone had a great day! The 4th of July is such a great holiday. Our family started off the day by going to the Balloons. I have done this since I was a young girl and have always loved it! Kylee was scared of the balloons. Jared took Jayce and walked around to look at them. We got there early enough this year that we got to walk around and see them being blown up and then lift off into the air. Sorry no pictures, we left our camera in the car.
We then headed to Grantsville for the parade and a BBQ. Here are some pictures from the parade.
We then headed back to Orem for fireworks and another BBQ! The adults played croquet while the little ones jumped on the trampoline and went down the slide. Kylee DID NOT like the fireworks at all. She and Kaja stayed inside and watched the fireworks from the window and then would go in the front room and lay down on a pillow. Jayce fell asleep during the fireworks! It was a great day and I love this day to remember how blessed we are to live in this great land!

I'm Jessica -- Shannon B's friend. I am also from Grantsville and am good friends with Jared's older brother Justin. So cool figuring out that connection! So, she told me you had pics of the Grantsville 4th of July parade, so I had to come peek. My neice was in the Jr. Little Miss Grantsville royalty . . . any chance you or anyone you know got any pics of that? My dorky family forgot their cameras and I wanted to see her!
