Okay, so this is where the craftiness comes in! I love having pens by my phone to take messages or write down important information, BUT I hate the cluttered look. Here is a cute simple project to take away the clutter and put something beautiful by your phone! 
I made some of these awhile ago and was at the Dollar Store today (my favorite store) picking up some other stuff. I saw some really cute fake flowers, so I bought some and made more pens. Here is how you make them.
Fist, pick the pens you want to use and get some green flower tape (it is by the artificial flowers at the stores). Cut the flowers. Make sure you push the leaves up around the flower and when you cut the stems, make sure you have about 2 inches or so of stem so that when you wrap the tape, you are sure to make the flower secure at the top.
Second, wrap a little tape around the top of the pen to get it going.
Then add the flower and wrap. Wrap down at a diagonal all the way to the end of the pen.
Like this! TA DAA!! You are all done!
Now, just find a cute bucket (they also have these at the Dollar Store). You can either use beans in the bucket or you can also buy some rocks at the Dollar Store to put in the bucket to hold the pens in place. Isn't it cute? I use them when I teach Young Women's. Makes for a great centerpiece and then the girls also have pens when they need to write something down! Multifunctional!

We had some of those in young womens but the pens died. So for an activity, the girls made more with flowers that were value colors. I may have to make some for me because I really like them.
