I love this time of year. The colors, the smells, and the food!!! Megan and I have been bottling up a storm. And we aren't even done yet!!! So far, we have bottled 39 quarts of peaches, 4 quarts of pears, 53 quarts of tomatoes, 20 pints of pizza sauce, 22 pints of spaghetti sauce, and 5 pints of salsa!!
Still in the works are some more peaches, applesauce, and maybe some peach salsa!! Megan and I already have ideas for some fun new things next year like bread and butter pickles, yummo!!!
Last weekend, Jared and I went out to dinner with some of his high school friends (and my friends now!!!). We went to Texas Roadhouse! Oh, I am in love with that place. It was delicious. I just love eating out (and it probably shows huh!!!!) Anyway, we had a great time! Thanks go out to Guy and Judy for watching our kids so that we could go. Thank you so very much.
