Thursday nights, Jared plays in a Payson city league basketball team. Last Thursday, he came home with a big cut on his face and blood running down his jersey. He said he needed to go get stitches. I couldn't believe it! I asked him if he got in a fight and he said nothing. He was acting pretty strange, just real quiet like. As he was leaving he told me that he hoped the police didn't show up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I didn't know what to think!! I went to start getting the girls ready for bed and he walked back to the bedroom and said he was just kidding, he just got elbowed at the game. I could have died!!
Anyway, he went to the InstaCare in Springville. He just missed them. They closed at 8:00. He then headed up to the InstaCare in Orem. The stitched him up and home he came. I have been meaning to get pictures. His eye kind of went black and blue on Sunday, but not to bad. It is mostly cleared up now and he should be getting to the doctor today or tomorrow to get the stitches taken out.

I would think it would take quite a lot for Jared to get in a fight
I bet he's loving it. Twlling everyone how he got the scar. Making up stories of all kinds. (I'm glad it's not real bad.)
NICE! Sounds like something that James would have done! I grounded him from basketball when he tore his knee up and had to have surgery!!! :)
